Role Description The Purchasing Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Daskroi. The individual in this role will handle day-to-day procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating prices and contract terms, and placing purchase orders for medical equipment and related materials. Responsibilities include maintaining vendor relationships, tracking deliveries, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials. The role also involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, verifying invoices against purchase orders, and supporting cost optimization and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in purchasing, vendor management, and negotiation, with the ability to secure cost-effective and reliable supplies.
- Good understanding of inventory control, supply chain processes, and basic logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and ERP or inventory management software for order processing and record-keeping.
- Attention to detail, data accuracy, and basic analytical skills for price comparison and cost monitoring.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Daskroi, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, supply chain, or a related field; experience in medical devices or healthcare manufacturing is an advantage.
