Role Description The Purchase Executive (Fabrication only & immediate joiner) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. This role focuses on overseeing procurement activities related to fabrication materials and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining accurate records of purchases and deliveries. The Purchase Executive monitors inventory levels for fabrication-related items, negotiates prices and terms, and ensures compliance with company standards and quality expectations. The role also involves regular communication with production, quality, and finance teams to support smooth project execution and address any supply-related issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Management, including handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions for fabrication materials and services.
- Candidates should possess solid Procurement skills, including vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and project teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of fabrication processes, materials (steel, castings, rubber products), and quality standards relevant to heavy engineering projects.
- Relevant experience in industrial or infrastructure manufacturing procurement, preferably in bridge bearings, expansion joints, or heavy fabrication.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or purchasing software.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhopal, manage multiple purchase requirements, and join immediately or within a short notice period.
- A diploma or degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
