Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Executive, based in New Delhi. The Purchasing Executive will oversee purchase requisitions and orders, coordinate with vendors, and manage procurement activities to meet the company's operational goals. Key responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies while meeting quality standards. Collaborative communication across departments and vendors will be essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management processes
- Understanding of Procurement practices and strategies
- Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to analyze supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- Competence in using procurement management tools or software
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement within the F&B or related industry is a plus
