Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchasing Executive role based in Indore. The Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including receiving and reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. The role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, maintaining vendor relationships, and monitoring inventory levels to support production needs. The Purchasing Executive also collaborates with production, stores, and finance teams, tracks purchase-related documentation, and supports continuous improvement of purchasing processes and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, with the ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Purchase Management and Procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial purchasing, preferably in steel, wire, or cable-related products.
- Knowledge of basic inventory control and ERP or procurement software tools.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
