Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive, located in Chennai. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase processes, including creating and issuing purchase orders and requisitions. They will oversee procurement tasks, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, while maintaining vendor relationships. The candidate will also be required to coordinate with internal teams to assess purchasing needs and ensure that all procurement activities align with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and overall Purchase Management
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in Procurement and purchasing processes
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement roles is advantageous
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools is a plus
