Role Description The Purchase Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and reviewing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services. Daily tasks include vendor sourcing and evaluation, negotiating prices and terms, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring adherence to company procurement policies. The role also involves close coordination with production and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels, resolve discrepancies, and support smooth operations. The Purchase Executive is expected to monitor market trends, assist in cost optimization, and contribute to building reliable supplier relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong purchase management capabilities, including experience with Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
- Knowledge of Procurement processes and best practices, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to use MS Office and basic ERP or purchase management software for documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in engineering tools, cutting tools, or allied manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and uphold ethical and transparent procurement practices.
