Role Description The Purchase Executive role at HealthSy Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The Purchase Executive will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of medicines and healthcare products. Responsibilities include maintaining optimal stock levels, monitoring inventory movement, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations. The role also involves regular communication with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies, track orders, and support smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions for accurate and timely order processing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Procurement to handle vendor relationships, negotiations, and inventory planning.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, pharmacists, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in pharmacy or healthcare product purchasing is beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic inventory control, stock reconciliation, and MS Excel or inventory software is preferred.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment are important.
- A diploma or degree in commerce, business, supply chain, or a related field is advantageous.
