Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensure timely availability of materials required for production.
Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of raw materials, consumables, and bought-out items
Develop and maintain vendor relationships
Generate and follow up on purchase orders (POs)
Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production requirements
Compare quotations and negotiate cost-effective pricing
Maintain purchase records, documentation, and reports
Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments
Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages/excess stock
Requirements
Graduate (any discipline; commerce/management preferred)
1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement
Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic ERP systems
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
Ability to commute/relocate:
Chandigarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
