Superflow Pumps Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to handle procurement activities for our centrifugal pump manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end purchase activities from RFQ to PO and material delivery.
- Source and develop vendors for pump castings, forgings, machined components, shafts, impellers, mechanical seals, bearings, motors, valves, fasteners and other engineering components.
- Send enquiries, compare quotations and negotiate price, quality and delivery terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and Design/Engineering departments.
- Review drawings, BOMs, material specifications and technical requirements before purchasing.
- Develop new vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
- Handle vendor quality issues, rejected materials and corrective actions.
- Monitor pending POs and ensure timely material availability as per production requirements.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor data and delivery follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production / Purchase / Supply Chain preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in an engineering or manufacturing company.
- Experience in centrifugal pump manufacturing will be preferred.
- Knowledge of pump components, castings, forgings and machined components.
- Good knowledge of vendor development, negotiation and purchase documentation.
- Experience with ERP and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
