About the Role:
Pratik Art Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Purchase Executive to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services required for interior fit-out projects while ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for interior fit-out projects.
- Source and procure materials such as laminates, veneers, plywood, hardware, glass, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, lighting, furniture, stone, and other interior finishing materials.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, Stores, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth material flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain approved vendor databases.
- Track material deliveries and resolve supply-related issues proactively.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3 or more years of procurement experience, preferably in interior fit-out, construction, furniture manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, vendors, and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with interior contracting or turnkey fit-out projects.
· Established vendor network within the interior fit-out procurement and construction industry.
· Strong commercial acumen and cost-control mindset.
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
· Good knowledge of interior materials such as plywood, laminates, hardware, glass, gypsum, flooring, lighting, and furniture
