Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Engineer at our facility in Rajkot. The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for procuring materials and services, managing purchase planning processes, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining supplier relationships. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials, monitoring inventory levels, negotiating contracts, and analyzing procurement data to optimize purchasing strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning
- Experience in preparing and handling Purchase Orders efficiently
- Proven Analytical Skills to drive data-based decisions and optimize procurement strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Educational background in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications
