Required Qualifications
∙Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
∙3–7 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within aerospace or defense industries.

Required Skills
∙Strong knowledge of structural components, aerospace-grade materials
(aluminum, composites, Nylon), and manufacturing processes.
∙Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP procurement modules.
∙Familiarity with export control regulations and defense procurement compliance.
∙Negotiation, documentation, and vendor management skills.
∙Collaborate with design, structural engineering, and quality teams to ensure
procurement aligns with technical specifications.
∙Experience in supplier audits and vendor evaluation.
∙Knowledge of structural analysis requirements to align with engineering teams.
∙Exposure to global sourcing and supply chain risk management.
∙Source and procure carbon fiber composites, prepregs, laminates, and structural assemblies for aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical procurement of UAV structural components, aerospace-grade materials, composites, and structural assemblies.
- Coordinate closely with Design, Structural Engineering, and Quality teams to understand BOMs, drawings, technical specifications, material requirements, and structural procurement needs.
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop capable aerospace-grade suppliers for aluminum, carbon-fiber composites, prepregs, laminates, Nylon, machined parts, and structural assemblies.
- Manage the procurement of critical and long-lead structural materials and components to ensure uninterrupted UAV development, assembly, and production schedules.
- Ensure material traceability, quality documentation, certifications, and supplier compliance for aerospace-grade materials and structural components.
- Conduct and support supplier evaluation, capability assessments, and supplier audits to ensure adherence to required quality, manufacturing, and aerospace standards.
- Monitor supplier performance across Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD), while proactively identifying and mitigating supply-chain, capacity, material availability, and sourcing risks.
- Drive cost optimization and commercial negotiations while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, structural requirements, aerospace quality standards, and applicable export/defense procurement regulations.
