Role Description The Purchase Department Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vasai. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, tracking purchase costs, and supporting budget adherence. The specialist will maintain accurate purchasing documentation, evaluate supplier performance, and contribute to process improvements that support the company’s production and quality objectives. Collaboration with finance, operations, and warehouse teams is essential to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing to manage day-to-day procurement activities efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Purchase Orders to oversee vendor relationships and documentation accuracy.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate costs, optimize purchasing decisions, and support data-driven reporting.
- Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within manufacturing, FMCG, or cosmetics industries is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or purchasing software, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, is preferred.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, are important.
- A diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is advantageous.
