Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about procurement and supply chain operations? We're looking for a Purchase Associate to join our growing team and support our procurement processes with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and office supplies.
- Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on order confirmations and dispatch schedules.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor documentation, quotations, invoices, and GRNs.
- Update procurement data accurately in ERP/Tally or other business software.
- Support inventory planning to ensure timely material availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while assisting in vendor identification and evaluation.
- Support cost optimization through quotation comparisons and negotiation coordination.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and provide regular procurement status updates.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies while maintaining confidentiality of commercial information.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations (Freshers with strong analytical skills may also apply, if applicable).
- Working knowledge of ERP/Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have prior experience in the agrochemical industry.
