Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Associate located in Mumbai. The Purchase Associate will manage procurement activities, maintain inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment, and identify cost-saving opportunities in the procurement process. The role includes liaising with internal teams to assess purchasing needs, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, and managing vendor relationships. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records and preparing regular reports to aid decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to handle vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Proficiency in Inventory Management for maintaining optimal stock levels and managing procurement databases efficiently.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team-focused environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP practices or experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field; additional certifications in purchasing or procurement are a plus.
