Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Assistant at U & I Interiors Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad. The Purchase Assistant will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating and processing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, and assisting in procurement activities.
Qualifications
An assistant purchase manager is responsible for overseeing the purchase of goods and materials for an organization, including:
Evaluating vendors: Recommending vendors and determining the most cost-effective inventory levels
Negotiating: Negotiating prices, delivery, and credit terms with vendors
Maintaining inventory: Ensuring inventory levels are maintained
Processing orders: Processing purchase orders
Liaising with suppliers: Following up with suppliers to confirm or change orders
Preparing cost analyses: Conducting market research to identify pricing trends and preparing cost analyses
Maintaining records: Maintaining updated records of invoices and contracts
