Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Assistant located in Ahmedabad. The Purchase Assistant will be responsible for managing and processing purchase orders, assisting in procurement operations, maintaining records, liaising with vendors, and ensuring timely acquisition and delivery of goods. The role also involves supporting routine administrative tasks to ensure the supply chain operates efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes and handling Purchase Orders
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing and Procurement operations
- Effective Communication skills for vendor management and internal coordination
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant purchasing software
- Prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
