Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Assistant located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Purchase Assistant will manage procurement activities, including placing and tracking purchase orders, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Additionally, the candidate will assist in monitoring purchasing processes, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Effective communication with internal teams and external vendors will be a key responsibility in this role to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Procurement
- Experience in creating and managing Purchase Orders
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and stakeholders
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with purchasing and procurement software/tools
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Business Administration or a related field
