Role Description The Purchase Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at Accrete Electromech’s facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The Purchase Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, and services, ensuring timely availability to support production schedules and customer commitments. This role includes negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and monitoring pricing, quality, and delivery performance. The Purchase Manager will coordinate closely with production, quality, and finance teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with company standards and certifications. Day-to-day responsibilities also include reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing purchase orders, tracking material flow, and resolving supply-related issues to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications
BE( mechanical),/DME , 8 to 12 years experience in Automobile Industry.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate supplier performance, assess pricing, and optimize procurement decisions.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management and Inventory Management skills to coordinate purchasing activities, control stock levels, and support production planning.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and negotiate with suppliers in a clear and professional manner.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service orientation to support internal stakeholders and help maintain reliable delivery performance for external customers.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, particularly in precision tubes, sheet metal, or automotive / appliances sectors, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ERP or procurement software, basic financial acumen, and familiarity with quality standards (such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001) are advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, along with prior experience in purchasing or supply chain roles, is preferred.
