Position: Punjabi Language Expert
Type: Specialist Contract
Compensation: $10–$30/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review, translate, and localize content to and from Punjabi, ensuring linguistic and contextual accuracy.
- Provide linguistic expertise for language resources, training materials, and documentation.
- Offer cultural insights and guidance to ensure content resonates with Punjabi-speaking audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain clarity and consistency across communications.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to uphold high standards of written and verbal Punjabi content.
- Develop and refine terminologies, glossaries, and style guides specific to Punjabi.
- Address language-related queries and provide expert feedback to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi (written and spoken).
- Strong background in linguistics or language studies.
- Experience in translation, localization, language teaching, or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly explain complex linguistic concepts.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams in remote environments.
