About the Department
Assists with Pueblo County Youth Programs, Adult Programs, and Special Events located at Pueblo County Community Centers and multiple recreational areas throughout the year; responsible for all individuals in a program area and assists the participation of activities at the site as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Duties
- Assists in the operations of programs and events; establishes positive rapport with all participants in programs.
- Conducts inventory on recreational equipment and supplies; provides maintenance and repairs.
- Ensures accurate records and scorekeeping are maintained at all times.
- Assists with monitoring the day-to-day operations of recreational programs and centers.
- Prepares recreation programs and special events.
- Maintains the cleanliness of Community and Recreation Centers.
- Performs other duties as appropriate or necessary for performance of the job.
Minimum Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- 6 months of recreational activities experience is preferred
NOTE: For preferred qualifications, the substitution of any combination of relevant and related education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability may be considered, including by way of example, specific experience or skill-based qualifications that may substitute for certain educational requirements, or a combination of relevant education and experience including supervisory experience.
