Sub-Editor (Social Media)

This is a remote position. We are hiring! Pubninja is looking for a Sub-Editor for our Social Media Content Team to join the team. What we are looking for: ​ Pubninja, a digital media company that works with multiple international publishing houses, is looking for a Social Media sub-editor to join its dynamic editorial team. You will edit beat articles that include entertainment, human-interest, health, politics, crime, social media, pop culture, lifestyle, and original Reddit/Twitter/Facebook-based stories. Who are we? Requirements What you bring to the team : Your primary responsibilities include playing a pivotal role in editorial production. This includes creating social media photo posts for Entertainment + British Royal family and trending stories. From approving stories, prioritising and editing them, to working in tandem with the team lead, editors, and writers, you will be involved in ensuring the workflow and the eventual output are in their best shape while also meeting deadlines. You will also be responsible for extending assistance and guidance to writers, providing them with regular feedback on performance and helping address areas of improvement. 1-3 years of experience in copy-editing and social media posting.
