Senior Cloud Engineer - GCP

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on the GCP platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based solutions on GCP - Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC (Infrastructure as Code) technologies - Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management - Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards - Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into their applications - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members - Participate in incident response and problem-solving activities Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on GCP - Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) - Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures - Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in the cloud - Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices - Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Dataproc - Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills
