Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources Technology & Compliance team for the summer. This position will provide valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, specifically focusing on onboarding compliance and document management and the technology systems that accompany these tasks. The intern will gain experience by assisting with audit follow-ups for non-compliant onboarding documents, utilizing DocuSign for sending documents, and managing document storage in electronic personnel systems. Responsibilities Audit Follow-Ups: Assist in conducting regular audits of onboarding documents through vendor systems, particularly I9s and Background Checks to identify non-compliant files. Gain experience supporting the HR team in ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies. DocuSign Document Handling: Use DocuSign to prepare, send, and manage the signing process of essential HR documents. Ensure all documents are accurately completed and signed by relevant parties, in a timely manner. Store documents as necessary. Document Storage and Management: Support uploading and downloading of electronic personnel files as required, understanding the basics of data protection and why, where, how and when documents are stored. Communication: Collaborate with HR team members learning the ins-and-outs of concise, efficient, and sometimes urgent communications at all levels of the organization. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR Compliance and Technology team as needed. Learning Opportunities: Gain practical experience in HR operations and compliance management. Develop skills in electronic documentation and personnel file management. Learn about HR audit processes and how to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Opportunity to work with dynamic, nationwide HR teams and gain insights into various HR functions. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
