Job Summary:
The Asset Manager will play a key role in maintaining and organizing the company's digital asset library. This individual will ensure assets are properly tagged, establish and manage parent-child relationships, and maintain asset hygiene to drive efficient retrieval and usage. The role requires a meticulous, detail-oriented professional who can collaborate across teams to support asset lifecycle management and ensure best practices in digital asset organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Tagging: Implement and maintain a consistent tagging taxonomy to ensure accurate categorization and discoverability of assets.
- Parent-Child Relationships: Define and manage hierarchical relationships between assets to support proper organization and metadata linkage.
- Asset Hygiene: Conduct regular audits to identify outdated, duplicate, or missing metadata and ensure all assets adhere to established standards.
- Metadata Management: Collaborate with teams to ensure asset metadata is comprehensive, consistent, and aligned with business needs.
- Workflow Support: Assist in defining and optimizing asset ingestion, approval, and archival workflows to streamline asset management processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, teams to ensure assets meet usage standards and align with organizational goals.
- Platform Expertise: Utilize Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools to manage, monitor, and optimize the asset library effectively.
- Reporting: Generate reports on asset usage, compliance, and quality to inform strategic decisions and identify improvement areas.
Qualifications:
- Advanced English level (B2 or higher).
- Experience with AEM.
- 3 years of experience in digital asset management or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in DAM systems and tools, with experience in metadata tagging and asset lifecycle management.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive improvements in asset management processes.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Creative Processes: Familiarity with creative workflows, file types (e.g., images, videos, documents), and asset production.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in library science, Information Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise-level DAM systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of copyright, rights management, and licensing as they pertain to digital assets.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
