Role Description
Barket is seeking a Public Relations Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Delhi, India. The specialist will be responsible for crafting and distributing press releases, managing relationships with the media, and executing strategic communications plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining a positive public image for the organization, handling media inquiries, and coordinating PR campaigns and events to promote Barket's initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in crafting Press Releases and leading Public Relations initiatives
- Strong Communication and Media Relations skills
- Experience with Strategic Communications to drive impactful campaigns
- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, partners, and media personnel
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for animal welfare and understanding of adoption advocacy is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Professional experience in a similar or related role preferred
