Role Description The Public Relations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for planning and executing PR strategies that strengthen the company’s brand and reputation in the banking and finance industry. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and distributing press releases, managing media inquiries, organizing press events, and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets. The Public Relations Manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop communication materials, align messaging across channels, and support leadership with talking points and presentations. The role also involves monitoring media coverage, analyzing PR performance, and recommending improvements to enhance visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with experience managing relationships with journalists and media houses.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Press Releases and Strategic Communications, including crafting clear messaging for campaigns and corporate announcements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a concise and accessible manner.
- Experience in corporate communications, brand management, or marketing within banking, finance, or related sectors is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to ethical, inclusive communication practices.
