Role Description The Public Relations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for developing and executing PR strategies that enhance One Up Consulting’s brand visibility and reputation across media and industry channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting press releases, managing media outreach, coordinating interviews, and maintaining relationships with journalists and media organizations. The Public Relations Manager will create and oversee communication plans for key initiatives, support leadership with talking points and presentations, and monitor media coverage to inform future strategies. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, managing PR events, and responding to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of experience in Public Relations/Communications, preferably within a PR agency environment.
- Strong experience working with luxury brands, particularly across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or adjacent premium categories.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and brand narratives effectively.
- Strong existing relationships with press, journalists, editors, influencers, KOLs, celebrities, and HNI networks.
- Strong understanding of the luxury consumer, premium brand positioning, and the nuances of luxury communications.
- Excellent networking, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
