We are looking for a Public Relations (PR) Manager for our Mumbai branch for our BFSI Sector.
PR Manager – BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance)
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 4–6 years in Public Relations (BFSI mandatory)
Industry: BFSI / Financial Communications

🔹 Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented PR Manager – BFSI to lead and manage communication strategies for our Banking, Financial Services and Insurance clients. The ideal candidate will have strong media relations, excellent writing skills, and a deep understanding of financial communication, regulatory sensitivities, and brand reputation management.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated PR and communication strategies for BFSI clients
- Manage end-to-end client servicing including planning, execution, and reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business, finance, and industry journalists
- Draft and review press releases, media pitches, bylines, speeches, FAQs, and thought leadership articles
- Secure high-impact media coverage across print, digital, television, and trade publications
- Handle crisis communication and reputation management when required
- Manage quarterly and annual communication calendars for BFSI accounts
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on brand positioning and messaging
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments
- Mentor and guide junior team members and executives
- Prepare monthly performance reports and media analysis for clients
- Coordinate with internal teams for campaigns, events, and product launches
🔹 Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of BFSI sector including banking, fintech, NBFCs, insurance and investments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and sustain media relationships
- Strong client handling and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking with execution capability
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple accounts
- Crisis management and issues handling experience
- High attention to detail and professionalism
🔹 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in PR handling BFSI clients
