The Good Edge is looking for promising a PR professional. We are a fast-growing PR and corporate communications firm, servicing a roster of top Indian and MNC firms particularly in the BFSI, consulting and tech sectors as well as some exciting start-ups.
The Public Relations Executive will be part of account management teams and will help manage client and media relationships, communication planning, execution and reporting efforts.
The role:
- Execute multiple client operations, including media advisories and reports.
- Assist the team in keeping track of stories, industry events and preparing media pitches.
- Execute PR campaigns aligned with client objectives and brand messaging across various platforms including mainstream, social media and new media.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure press coverage across various platforms.
- Prepare first draft of press releases, articles, and other engaging content to effectively communicate client stories and key messages.
- Coordinate and manage events, press conferences to enhance brand visibility and media engagement.
- Track media coverage, analyze campaign performance, and prepare comprehensive reports showcasing results and recommendations for improvements.
- Support new business acquisitions from research and analysis to preparing pitch presentations.
Requirements and eligibility:
- Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in mass communication/ PR/ Journalism from a reputed institute, or an MBA in Marketing.
- 1-3 years of experience with a PR agency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Continuous learning approach towards business and understanding the core sector and media trends.
Remuneration will be at par with industry standards and in line with your qualifications and experience.
