Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive PR Executive to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of public relations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals. The candidate should be passionate about storytelling, media engagement, and creating impactful communication strategies for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media professionals across print, electronic, and digital media.
- Draft compelling press releases, media pitches, media briefs, client announcements, and other PR communication materials.
- Coordinate media interactions, interviews, press conferences, and other PR activities.
- Identify relevant media opportunities and secure quality coverage for clients.
- Monitor daily news, industry developments, and media trends relevant to client businesses.
- Prepare media coverage reports, maintain coverage trackers, and share regular updates with clients.
- Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns and communication strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client requirements and campaign deliverables.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in public relations, preferably with a PR agency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good media contacts and an understanding of the regional media landscape in Chandigarh and Punjab.
- Excellent drafting, research, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
