Role Description
This is a full-time, female on-site role located in Chennai at Nungambakkam for a Public Relations Event Manager. The role involves planning and executing events aimed at promoting AIE's vision and initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting and distributing press releases, coordinating with media outlets to build strong media relations, and managing communications with stakeholders. This role also requires working closely with the team to align event objectives with organizational goals, handling logistics, and maximizing the impact of events through thoughtful execution.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in writing and distributing Press Releases and managing Media Relations
- Proficiency in Communication and Public Relations to effectively interact with various stakeholders
- Expertise in Event Planning, including organizing, coordinating, and executing events
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple events and deadlines
- Experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem or experience with non-profit organizations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Ability to work in an on-site, fast-paced environment in Chennai and adapt to dynamic organizational needs
