Role Description
Public Relations Consultant (BFSI)
This is a full-time remote role for a Public Relations Consultant with strong BFSI experience. We’re looking for a hands-on doer — someone who can independently drive execution while thinking strategically. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end PR mandates for BFSI clients, including media outreach, thought leadership, and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute PR strategies for BFSI clients
- Draft high-quality press releases, articles, and leadership bylines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business, finance, and policy media
- Drive consistent media coverage across top-tier publications
- Identify and secure thought leadership opportunities for clients
- Manage day-to-day client communication and deliverables
- Monitor industry trends and recommend proactive story ideas
- Ensure all communicationd aligns with brand positioning and regulatory sensitivity
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in public relations, with a strong focus on BFSI (banking, financial services, insurance) clients
- Proven track record of securing media coverage in top-tier business and financial publications
- Strong media relationships with journalists across finance, business, and policy beats
- Excellent writing skills press releases, bylines, thought leadership articles
- Ability to understand and simplify complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage accounts and drive execution
- Strong stakeholder management and client servicing skills
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities
