Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned PR professional to lead key client mandates with a strong focus on media strategy, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management. The Account Director will play a critical role in shaping narratives, guiding clients, and driving consistent, high-quality media outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee key client accounts, ensuring strategic direction and flawless execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, providing counsel on communication strategy and reputation management
- Conceptualize and drive PR campaigns with a strong focus on media
- Build and leverage strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers to secure high-impact coverage
- Oversee development of press materials including press releases, media briefs, bylines, and thought leadership pieces
- Ensure consistent, quality media visibility across print, online, and broadcast platforms
- Manage and mentor account teams, ensuring productivity and professional growth
- Lead crisis communication planning and execution when required
- Identify opportunities for organic account growth and support new business initiatives
- Monitor media landscape and provide insights to clients on emerging trends and opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- 10–12 years of experience in Public Relations
- Strong, established relationships with national and regional media
- Proven ability to drive earned media outcomes and manage reputation mandates
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to operate with strategic clarity in a fast-paced environment
