Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Public Relations Manager at Glad U Came. The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for tasks like creating press releases, managing media relations, handling communication strategies, conducting public relations activities, and writing for different platforms. While the role is based in Mumbai.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PR executives and senior executives
Allocate work, set clear KPIs, and monitor team performance
Conduct regular check-ins, reviews, and training sessions
Ensure team motivation, productivity, and alignment with company goals
Client & Campaign Management
Oversee end-to-end execution of PR campaigns across clients
Act as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
Provide strategic direction on brand positioning, storytelling, and media outreach
Ensure timely delivery of all client commitments
Operations & Process Management
Streamline internal PR processes, workflows, and reporting structures
Manage timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation across accounts
Ensure quality control across press releases, pitches, and communication materials
Track campaign performance, media coverage, and reporting metrics
Media Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media houses
Drive impactful media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms
Identify new media opportunities and industry trends
Strategy & Growth
Contribute to PR strategies and integrated campaign planning
Support business development through ideation and pitch participation
Identify opportunities to scale processes and improve efficiency
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in Public Relations / Communications
- Prior experience in team handling + client servicing is mandatory
- Strong understanding of media landscape and PR tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
