Role Description
This remote internship role as a Public Policy Intern offers the opportunity to assist in developing and analyzing public policy strategies that promote Digistall’s mission. Daily tasks include conducting research on legislative and regulatory frameworks, drafting policy briefs, engaging with stakeholders in government and other organizations, and contributing to initiatives that align with the company’s goals. The role requires collaboration with team members to advocate for policies that support rural e-commerce development and technological growth.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Governmental Affairs and Government Relations practices
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills for evaluating policy impacts and trends
- Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey key messages
- Familiarity with Legislative Relations and processes
- Passion for public policy, innovation, and rural economic development
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, while collaborating effectively within a team
- Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field
