🎯 Job Summary:
Vidyashilp Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate Psychology Educator to teach Psychology and foster students’ understanding of human behaviour, mental processes, and emotional well-being.
The role focuses on classroom teaching, curriculum delivery, and student engagement, while also supporting students’ social and emotional development in alignment with school values and policies.
🧑 🏫 Roles & Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Use interactive and student-centered teaching methodologies
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
- Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress
Student Development
- Encourage critical thinking and application of psychological concepts
- Promote awareness of mental health and emotional well-being
- Identify students needing additional support and refer when required
Collaboration & Engagement
- Work closely with teachers and academic teams
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Participate in school activities, workshops, and academic initiatives
Professional Development
- Stay updated with developments in Psychology and education practices
- Integrate modern teaching tools and methodologies
🎓 Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology (mandatory)
- B.Ed. preferred
- Prior teaching experience in Psychology (school level preferred)
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology
