The Mind Rhythm is a child development and mental health center primarily focusing on supporting neurodivergent children, particularly those with autism and ADHD. We provide evidence-based, holistic, and individualized therapeutic care designed around each child’s unique needs, strengths, and pace of development.
Our services include psychological assessments, child-centered counseling, behavior-based interventions, therapeutic support, and consultations. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Psychology Intern role focused specifically on neurodivergent child therapies. The intern will support the team in assisting with child assessments, observing and participating in therapy sessions, supporting intervention plans, and contributing to developmental consultations.
The intern will work closely with experienced child psychologists and therapists, gaining hands-on exposure to therapeutic approaches used with children with autism and ADHD, while strictly maintaining confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (completed or in final year)
• Basic understanding of child psychology and developmental concepts
• Interest in working with neurodivergent children, including autism and ADHD
• Willingness to learn therapeutic techniques and evidence-based interventions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children and caregivers
• Patience, empathy, and emotional sensitivity in a therapeutic setting
• Ability to follow structured guidance, routines, and supervision protocols
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
• Exposure to child therapy, special education, or inclusive education environments
• Familiarity with behavioral, developmental, or play-based therapy approaches
