Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Psychology Intern. The Psychology Intern will assist in conducting psychological research, support mental health initiatives, and create educational content related to emotional health and wellness. Day-to-day tasks may include contributing to program development, assisting with psychological assessments, working on resource creation, and engaging in meaningful communication with the community. The role provides a unique opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable experience in mental health and emotional wellness.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of Psychology and Mental Health principles and practices
- Experience or familiarity with Psychological Testing and related tools
- Strong Communication and Education skills to effectively share mental health resources
- Empathy, cultural competency, and the ability to connect with individuals on their emotional wellness journey
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Psychology or a related field
- Knowledge of community care and emotional wellness best practices is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work and complete tasks independently in a remote environment
- Passion for mental health advocacy and supporting emotional wellness initiatives
