Role: Trainee Psychologist — Supervised Client Practice Programme

About the Role
Mate & Mentors is selecting a cohort of 40 postgraduate psychology graduates for our supervised clinical practicum programme beginning 10th April 2025. We have finalised 15 candidates, 25 seats are still available.
This is a structured, case-based training pathway designed for MS and MPhil psychology graduates who are ready to transition from academic study into supervised clinical practice.
Selected candidates will work under the direct guidance of experienced clinical psychologists, handling real client cases across a range of presentations.
What the Programme Involves
Month 1 — Structured training in therapeutic modalities including CBT, Psychoanalysis, REBT, JPMR, EFT, case formulation, clinical documentation, and group therapy. Approximately 3 hours per day.
Months 2 and 3 — Supervised live client sessions. Candidates manage real cases with direct clinical oversight.

- Internship Certificate
- Letter of Recommendation from a Clinical Psychologist
- Direct pathway to the Mate role on our platform — earning up to ₹700 per hour
Who We Are Looking For
- MS or MPhil in Psychology — mandatory
- Graduation in Psychology — compulsory
- Genuinely committed to entering personal practice
- Available for approximately 3 hours per day from April 10th
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed individually. Shortlisted candidates attend an interview with the Mate & Mentors team. Final selection is based on academic background, intent, and clinical suitability.
