About the Role:
The School Counselor will support students’ emotional well-being across multiple schools by conducting counseling sessions and teaching emotional literacy. The role includes traveling to different school locations, working closely with teachers and parents, and assisting the sales team in demos and school onboarding. The counselor will help create safe, supportive learning environments while promoting preventive mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and behavioral support to students across partner schools
- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions
- Travel to multiple school locations six days a week for program implementation
- Deliver classroom sessions on emotional literacy and life skills
- Support teachers in classroom management and student well-being
- Conduct workshops for students, teachers, and parents
- Assist the sales team during school demos, presentations, and orientations
- Help in onboarding schools and explaining the program effectively
- Maintain student records and ensure confidentiality
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Psychology / Counseling / Child Development or related field
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in school counseling or working with children and adolescents
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Empathy and active listening
- Flexibility to travel between schools
- Ability to work with both academic and non-academic teams
Work Location: Ahmedabad (on-site role)
