Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Social Worker, located in the Greater Kolkata Area. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct social work services to clients, and coordinating case management activities. The Psychiatric Social Worker will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address mental and behavioral health needs while supporting the reintegration of clients into the community and ensuring access to appropriate support services.
Qualifications
- Experience in Social Work and Case Management in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning and delivering client-centered interventions.
- Knowledge of Mental Health and Behavioral Health concepts and therapies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and support individuals from vulnerable and diverse communities.
- M.Phil degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in working with marginalized populations or individuals with psychosocial disabilities is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local languages is preferred.
