Position Summary
The Senior Service Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day service operations with a primary focus on executing short-term and temporary guarding requests. This role is highly execution driven and centers around rapid response, coordination, and fulfillment of inbound service needs, often within tight or last-minute timeframes.
Unlike traditional service roles, this position is less focused on long term relationship management and more focused on urgency, responsiveness, and operational execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling dynamic, time sensitive requests.
This role also requires occasional availability outside of standard business hours to support urgent inbound leads and service needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound service requests, with a focus on temporary and last minute coverage needs
- Execute service requests from intake through fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of resources
- Coordinate with vendors, field teams, and internal partners to secure coverage in real time
- Manage a high volume of requests in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
- Troubleshoot service issues and provide quick resolution, escalating when appropriate
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders involved in service delivery
- Accurately document all service activity within internal systems
- Support urgent and after hours requests as needed to ensure service continuity
- Approve time, make necessary changes/corrections, ensure proper Accounts Receivables and Payables processes are aligned with expected work orders
- Implement pricing strategy and process ownership in accordance to company strategy for customer’s temporary and emergency needs
- Additional duties as directed by management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or Criminal Justice; equivalent business experience will be considered.
- Previous experience servicing client/customer accounts. Experience in account or portfolio management with high-touch service highly preferred.
- Highly personable with excellent customer service skills.
- Prior experience in service coordination, dispatch, operations, or similar environment preferred
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a reactive, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
- Flexible and willing to occasionally support needs outside of normal business hours
- Intermediate knowledge of office applications and ability to learn new software platforms as necessary.
