Role: Software Architect

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Software Architect to join our team. As an architect, you will be responsible for making design choices, coordinate & oversee technical standards including software coding standard, tools and platforms.

Your responsibilities:  

1. Identifying business requirements and requirements of the stakeholders on the project 
2. Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional & non- functional requirements for new software, platforms & applications 
3. Design the entire system based on the received requirements 
4. Choose the technologies for implementation of each component and connections between components 
5. Review the architecture and code 
6. Pay attention to system integration, sustainability & feasibility 
7. Manage all phases of technology development 
8. Oversee & supervise the work of the development team 
9. Guide/coach developers & engineers 
10. Suggest & implement solutions for process improvement 
11. Adhere to all the requirements & guidelines for quality, security, extensibility, plan for new technology insertion 
12. Understand & plan evolutionary paths 
13. Manage risk identification & risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture 

Skill sets/Experience we require:

1. Proven work experience as a Software Architect, Software Development or similar role  
2. Proven coding experience in various languages –preferably Python, APIs, ReactJS, GCP
3. Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Javascript & UI/UX design  
4. Understanding of software quality assurance principles  
5. Technical mindset & analytical approach  
6. Great attention to detail & good leadership skills  
7. Good interpersonal & communication skills  

Pedigree: 

1. Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or relevant field 
2. 10 Yrs of prior experience in a SaaS Product
