The persons in this position are responsible for processing US Mail and cargo products for transport to and from aircraft and trucks.

Responsibilities:

- Process USPS mail and cargo products for transport to/from aircraft and truck

- Operate forklifts, tugs, and other equipment used to keep the flow of cargo and mail moving safely and in a timely manner.

- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

- Enforce facility and company policies and procedures as mandated by TSA and airlines.

Qualifications:

- Must pass a 10 year background check to obtain an Airport ID

- This position requires the applicant to have a valid Driver's License and pass an MVR check and USPS clearance to handle and process mail, as well as operate equipment

- Previous experience with forklifts and pallet jacks preferred

- Must be thorough and exercise sound, independent judgement

- May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature

- Available to work evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays

- Reliable transportation required

- Demonstrate the ability to work with others and interact appropriately

Physical Requirements:This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Agents must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all operations
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
