Role Description The Proprietor at Kushal Enterprise is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Akola. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, including production planning, quality control, supply management, and coordination with wholesalers and customers. The Proprietor manages vendor relationships, supervises staff, monitors inventory, and ensures timely fulfillment of orders. Responsibilities also include managing finances, pricing, and basic accounting, along with identifying new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and in the office to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management skills, including production oversight, inventory control, and workflow coordination.
- Experience in manufacturing or trading of hardware, fittings, or related industrial products.
- Sound knowledge of basic finance, budgeting, and record-keeping for small to medium enterprises.
- Ability to manage and motivate staff, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Good communication and negotiation skills for interacting with suppliers, wholesalers, and customers.
- Practical problem-solving abilities and attention to product quality, durability, and compliance with standards.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for documentation, invoicing, and communication; familiarity with local market dynamics in Akola is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in running or co-managing a small business; formal education in business, commerce, or engineering is beneficial but not mandatory.
