Aquamech Engineering Corporation is hiring for two roles focused on Water Treatment (WTP), Wastewater Treatment (WWTP), ETP, STP, and ZLD projects across India. Please read both and apply for the one that matches your experience.
📍 Location: Navi Mumbai | Full-Time

ROLE 1 - PROPOSALS ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Study and analyse client enquiries, RFQs, tenders, and BOQs for WTP and WWTP projects
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, costing sheets, and bid documents covering process design, equipment selection, and civil scope
- Develop process flow descriptions, system sizing calculations, and technical write-ups for water and wastewater treatment systems
- Select appropriate treatment technologies RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, softeners, and filtration systems based on client feed water quality and discharge requirements
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to build accurate cost estimates, material lists, and project timelines
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for equipment and material quotations pumps, blowers, membranes, filters, chemical dosing systems
- Review tender documents for technical compliance, scope of work, and contractual term
- Maintain a proposal library of standard process write-ups, equipment datasheets, and past WTP/WWTP submissions
- Track submitted proposals and provide technical clarifications to clients and consultants
- Prepare pre-qualification documents and company profile submissions
- Support the sales team with technical inputs during client presentations and negotiations
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in proposal preparation or estimation specifically for WTP or WWTP projects
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, softeners, and filtration systems
- Ability to interpret feed water analysis reports and size WTP/WWTP systems accordingly
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, layout drawings, and hydraulic flow diagrams
- Understanding of pumps, blowers, membranes, instrumentation, and civil/structural interfaces
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and cost estimation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
ROLE 2 - SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for WTP, WWTP, ETP, STP, and ZLD systems across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors
- Target key industries including pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, chemicals, textiles, real estate, and municipal bodies
- Generate leads through field visits, industry events, referrals, and direct outreach to plant engineering, environment, and project teams
- Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements and present Aquamech's treatment solutions
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals in coordination with the proposals team
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with plant heads, environment officers, project engineers, and procurement teams
- Follow up on enquiries, proposals, and negotiations to drive order closures
- Monitor pollution control board regulations and ZLD mandates as triggers for new business
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline and provide regular updates on leads and order forecasts to management
- Represent Aquamech at water, environment, and industrial exhibitions and seminars
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales or business development in water treatment, wastewater, ZLD, or related environmental engineering
- Good working knowledge of WTP, WWTP, ETP, STP, and ZLD systems and treatment technologies
- Awareness of pollution control board norms, ZLD regulations, and industrial discharge standards is a strong advantage
- Strong client-facing, communication, and negotiation skills Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage a sales territory
- Existing network within pharma, food & beverage, chemicals, textiles, or municipal sectors is a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel for client visits and site meetings across India
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage
