Job Title: Proposal Writer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer with 2–3 years of experience in Federal and SLED (State, Local, and Education) government contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze solicitation documents and identify key requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance needs
- Develop, write, and edit technical, management, and past performance sections
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, capture managers, and leadership to gather inputs
- Ensure proposals are compliant, clear, and aligned with win themes and client objectives
- Manage content organization, version control, and formatting
- Support proposal timelines, reviews (Pink, Red, Gold), and final submission
- Maintain and reuse proposal content, templates, and knowledge repositories
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in proposal writing for Federal and/or SLED government clients
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirement
