About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with strong expertise in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for process design, optimization, technical evaluations, and supporting project execution across various water infrastructure projects including WTP, STP, ETP, ZLD, RO, UF, and MBR systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review & optimize process design calculations for WTP/STP/ETP/ZLD/RO systems.
- Prepare process engineering documents including:
- PFDs | P&IDs
- Hydraulic calculations
- Mass balance calculations
- Process datasheets and technical documentation
- Support proposal and design teams in technology selection and cost-effective process solutions.
- Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies & process audits at project sites.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation.
- Provide process engineering support during procurement & vendor evaluation.
- Assist project teams during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting & performance optimization.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, industry standards & project specifications.
- Prepare O&M manuals, technical reports & process guidelines.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical clarifications.
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies:
- WTP | STP | ETP | ZLD | RO | UF | MBR
- Hands-on experience in process design calculations and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with design tools/software (Excel-based calculations, AutoCAD preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
Qualification- BE / B.Tech in: Chemical Engineering | Environmental Engineering | Mechanical Engineering (with relevant water industry experience)
