Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur for a Property & Casualty Insurance Specialist. The role involves advising clients on property and casualty insurance products, including coverage for commercial and residential risks, and tailoring policies to align with their specific requirements. The specialist will evaluate client portfolios, assess risk exposures, prepare quotations, and support end-to-end policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals. Daily responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, coordinating with insurers on pricing and terms, assisting with claims intimation and documentation, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines. The role also includes building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to meet business targets and service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on responsiveness, issue resolution, and relationship management.
- Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Residential Real Estate insurance requirements, including risk assessment and coverage structuring.
- Sales skills, with experience in prospecting, consultative selling, and achieving or exceeding business targets.
- Understanding of property & casualty insurance products, policy wordings, underwriting basics, and claims processes.
- Ability to analyze risk and coverage needs, with attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; relevant insurance certifications (e.g., IRDA broker or intermediary certifications) are an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with proficiency in MS Office and basic insurance software tools.
